Quality- and Envionment Policy
During the work on fulfilling the customers’ requirements and needs Accoat will live up to all valid legal- and governmental legislation as well as the DS/EN ISO 9001 and DS/ISO 14001. At the same time Accoat acknowledge that we all must take responsibility for the extern environment and for each other. Therefore Accoat takes care of both the intern and extern environment.
Accoat acknowledge the UN's Global Compacts's ten principles in the areas of human rights, employee rights, environment and anti-corruption according to which the UN has listed guidelines for companies' work to ensure a more sustainable Development. Accoat follows the 10 principles set out in the UN Global Compact. Accoat complies with the International Labor Organization's convention and the UN Declaration on Human Rights (UNDHR). This Means that Accoat will not tolerate child labour or forced Labour, will not employ minors and that any kind of discrimination in working and employment conditions is prohibited.
It is further more Accoats goals:
- To continuously act on improvement within quality, the environment, and the energy consumption in order always to fulfil the legislation.
- To build long lasting relationships - based on trust, confidence, responsibility and service - with authorities, suppliers and Co-operation partners.
- To develop products and services alone and together with partners such as universities, customers and suppliers, in such a way that Accoat's product assortment is in the forefront.
- To attract qualified, dynamic and motivated employees in order to be able to keep up with the growth.
- To be a committed and trimmed organisation focused on defined growth-areas, action plans and goals.
- To work on implementing cleaner technology and more environmental friendly processes and products.
- To work on reducing the energy consumption.
- To work on education and motivation of the employees to fulfilling external requirements (legislation, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001) and internal requirements.
- To keep an open conversation and consider other parties (Society, Neighbours, Owners etc.) opinion in relation to questions about the environment.
